The project is situated in the northern area of Athens. The total surface of the designed area is approximately 250acres The aim was to create a supra -local park by implementing various activities and facilities. Because of the particular relief the area suffered by regular floods during heavy rains . For that reason a central lake(catchment basin) was implemented to collect the rain water from the north and distribute to the south through a channel to an existing stream. An other lake was implemented next to the restaurant for amusement.The project involved the implementation of open air swimming pools, Aqua Park, Botanical garden , lakes, open air cinema , athletic facilities (tennis, basket), BMX area, children play grounds, parking areas, pathways through the park, resting areas. I implemented the building infrastructure that consisted of Public Library, Kindergarten, Warehouse, Restaurant /Cafe , administration building.
